Water of life

If life is a river, then pursuing Christ requires swimming upstream.
When we stop swimming, or actively following Him,
we automatically begin to be swept downstream.    Francis Chan

On the last and greatest day of the festival,
Jesus stood and said in a loud voice,
“Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. John 7 v 37
Lord we sit by the well with you and rest.
We lean on you and renew our strength.
Lord we drink from the water of life.
We are refreshed in the healing streams of Your grace.
We shelter under the shadow of Your wings.
We look to You our all-wise heavenly parent, as You
attend to our needs from the storehouse of Your riches in glory.
We rest in the arms of Your love.
