Snuggle in God’s arms. When you are hurting, when you
feel lonely, left out. Let Him cradle you, comfort you,
reassure you of His all-sufficient power and love.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
the Father of mercies and God of all comfort.”
2 Corinthians 1 v 3
Whatever our situation, The Lord is at our side to comfort us.
However dark the night He is always there to light the lamp.
He balances the weight of our difficulties
with an equal measure of His soothing comforts.
He gives a crown of beauty instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness instead of mourning,
a mantle of praise instead of a spirit of despair.” Isaiah 61 v 3
In our times of difficulty and struggle, as we look to Jesus,
we will find that He soothes us with His blessed consolations,
and calms us with the sweet comfort of His love.
I experienced God’s restoring comfort during this past week.
Through my own mistake, I missed a very important occasion,
and I felt extremely regretful and upset. The advice I had from
someone was, “Well you’ll just have to deal with it”. Of course,
that left me feeling worse.
However, within hours of a friend praying for me,
God’s comfort came. How God did it, I do not know,
but my regret lifted and I felt at peace again.
