God uses little things

I think faith is the small mustard seed of opportunities every day.
For example, ‘Am I going to love this person?
Am I going to share my faith with this person?
Am I going to pray that little prayer?’
It really is a daily thing where you seize those little mustard seed
opportunities and then see what God will do. ~Mark Batterson

Mustard seed copy

Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith
even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain,
‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move.
Nothing would be impossible. Matthew 17 v 20

Lord we give You our mustard seed of faith, and You
multiply it into manifold and wondrous blessings in our lives.
We offer You the droplets of our trust
and You pour on us the ocean of Your loving kindness.
We give You the embers of our intentions to believe,
and You give us the desires of our hearts.
What a rich exchange this is,
for with the five barley loaves of our gifts to You,
You give us exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or imagine,.
This indeed is never-ending love.

Examples of small things used by God A song. A flower.
A little boy’s lunch. A baby in a manger. A teenage mother.
A star. A cup of water. A couple of coins in the offering from a widow.
A mustard seed. Joe McKeever

Story of ‘little things’
In the blogging world, my site would definitely be considered
a little thing. Just a few weeks ago I was wondering if it was
worth continuing, and asked the Lord that, if He wanted me to
keep going, would He please give me some form of encouragement.
The next day the encouragement came via a comment from Bill, who
in the blogging world would be considered Internet royalty!!!
(Checkout his site ‘unshakable hope’ ).
Bill could not have known that his ‘little’ comment
coming all the way across the oceans through cyberspace,
would be used by God to answer my prayer!!!
